We are looking for a motivated business development & marketing executive with extensive experience developing and implementing growth strategies within the film and media production industries.
As part of our restructured leadership team, you will focus on increasing our company’s local industry presence, leveraging our portfolio and experience and promoting our extended list of services and a fresh direction. You will be the key to unlocking new markets, establishing new client relationships and partnerships, and spearheading the marketing strategy for optimal visibility and growth.
Candidates should have the perfect blend of practical business know-how and a competitive edge. Successful applicants will have experience working with film production companies, creative agencies and technological innovators. They should be team players with great communication skills, interacting with executives, collaborators and clients on a daily basis.
5+ years’ experience working in a lead business development/marketing role within the film and creative media industries.
A wide network of local and international industry contacts.
Familiarity with creative production processes including funding and pre-production, production, post-production and distribution, as well as the latest industry trends and innovations.
Confidence and creativity to lead and execute a tailored marketing push showcasing innovation and market viability.
Experience leading team members in executing sales strategies and marketing initiatives, monitoring results and team output.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
Highly organized with a demonstrable skill of prioritization and effective time-management.
Understanding of technical processes required to understand and propose products and/or solutions by focusing on client requirements.
Initial 3-month contract with full-time employment opportunity for the right candidate.
